“Isabel Schwartzbach delivers a captivating performance as Maria — the kind of portrayal one hopes for but can never be certain to receive - yet here it is. Her voice is exquisitely sensitive, pure, and radiant. Isabel Schwartzbach’s Maria outshines everything and everyone.”
“It’s as if Julie Andrews, the iconic Maria in the 1965 film, was merely a substitute until Isabel Schwartzbach was born and old enough to make the role her own. It was made for her. ”
